Yesenia T. Moya, M.D., received her medical degree in the top 98th percentile of her class from the University of Zulia, Maracaibo, Venezuela. She then completed a two-year OB/GYN residency training at the Military Hospital, where she earned the Best Resident of the Year Award. Dr. Moya has earned numerous honorary awards throughout her academic career such as Highest Academic Honor, Top Medical Student Award, Outstanding Academic Performance Award, Dean's List-School of Medicine over several years, and placed 3rd on state contest for general practitioner. 

She completed her internship and residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. She specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology and provides consultations and care for adolescent through postmenopausal patients. In addition to providing care for basic women's health issues, she also handles high risk obstetrics, performs minimally-invasive gynecologic surgeries and provides in office procedures.


Dr. Moya is a big believer in perpetual education and a lover of languages; she is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. Before her career in medicine, Dr. Moya performed folk dance with a famous Venezuelan academy from elementary school through her residency. Dr. Moya has been married for 2 years; her husband is also a medical doctor and they have a beautiful daughter. Her outside interests are dancing, reading, exercising and spending time with her family.


Dr. Moya sees her patients in St. Cloud, Hunter's Creek and Altamonte Springs locations. She is available for appointments Monday-Saturday.
